I've had this crossover idea for roughly...since I started shipping them. But I never wanted to do it because I want people to ship them and that's hard to do when they're having tragic warring Romeo/Juliet tendencies.

So I have to thank Naomi for her encouragement and the inspiration from the poem (   / quiirkie  ) and also HUGE thanks to Ash for previewing everything and being enthusiastic about this. I wouldn't have been half as inspired to finish without her (   / scurvied  . ALSO SHE MADE THE THUMBNAIL LOOKIT DAT!!! It's perfect.

Also it's for everyone who wanted Hiccup/Elsa from me for Christmas. I'll still be looking at your individual request as time goes by, but my inspiration is so wishy-washy that I'd better dedicate while I have something to give.

SORRY YOU HAVE TO SHARE, but like I said, I'd better give while I can. ;D

So. Plot time.

Hiccup and Elsa are from different kingdoms, but their parents would have like diplomatic meetings and they would play together, and they liked each other a lot. Buuuuut then Stoick declared war on Arendelle for some reason. Whoop.

So for years, they meet in secrecy (or the black and white flashbacks could just be their thoughts of "what could have been" - that's open for interpretation) and try to avoid going to war themselves. But Stoick has big plans for his next attack, and he needs Hiccup in his army.

Hans is the general for Arendelle's army, and he tells the king and queen that Elsa's ice powers would be invaluable to their fight, so he drags Elsa into the battle as well. In the fight, Stoick calls his giant evil dragon guy out and the huge wave it causes sinks Elsa's parents' ship. And then his ice breath kills Anna. Hah. Whoops.

Hiccup is devastated and confronts his dad all like "omg why dad" whilst Hans confronts Elsa and tells her that now is when her powers are needed most. Her family has been killed, and she is now in charge. As such, she must win the war. So she creates Marshmallow guy who starts attacking Hiccup, and this results in Stoick's death.

Elsa sees what she's done, and now Elsa and Hiccup have both sort of inadvertently killed each other's families. Hahhh. There's no coming back from that. So they get crowned the leaders of their kingdoms, and they confront each other personally.

The end.

It's open-ended YAYYYY!!! I know everyone loves that. XD
