Resitrx welding with heat gun set to maximum power. It helps to have a clean nozzle to minimise fumes and minimise the chance of fire which can happen on the odd occasion if you let it get too hot. The most critical point is the change of angle and it’s important to get your penny roller hard into the corner to minimise any chance of water ingress. If there happens to be a void a patch can be put over it , which isn’t pretty but it beats having any chance of a leak.
