The first test firing from a naval platform of the LEVENT close air defense system, developed by ROKETSAN in Turkey with national and local resources, has been successfully completed.

The statement from ROKETSAN states that the LEVENT close air defense system, for which the first test firing was carried out last year, was integrated into the TCG Beykoz ship belonging to the Turkish Navy and was fired for the first time from a naval platform.

In this way, another test firing of LEVENT, which will be the effective destructive force of close air defense in the "Blue Homeland", was successfully completed.

The LEVENT close air defense system, which will play a critical role in the "Steel Dome" project that will provide Turkey's layered integrated air defense, will provide close air defense for surface platforms belonging to the Naval Forces Command.
