Sam Heughan ('Outlander') backstage at the first-of-its-kind 'Hublander: A Visit to the Highlands'

"Outlander" fans were out in force last weekend, congregating down under in Sydney and Melbourne for Hublander: A Visit to the Highlands, a first-of-its-kind convention for the TV blockbuster, featuring an hour-long Q&A with star Sam Heughan and hilarious hour-long chats with co-stars Duncan Lacroix, John Bell and Charles Vandervaart.

Gold Derby attended the event and was the only media outlet with exclusive one-on-one access to the show's leading man backstage. "Good to see you guys, in person and not on Zoom! It's just amazing, we're having the best time," Heughan declared. "It's great to see all the fans down under and it's so nice to see the fans come from all over."
