Here is a quick little demonstration video on how to replace the case on your broken Lexus / Toyota key fob. The main trick here is getting the replacement blade into the new plastic case. Using the plyers as I've shown is a good way to get the old blade in the new piece. You could also use a heat gun. This key breaks far too easily and in my opinion it's a poor design.

No programming will be required required and as long as you used your original key you're in good to start using it immediately. Toyota / Lexus made it relatively easy to replace for 03 to 10 years.
