3D Printed Key Presentation and Demo on LockCon 2014

Описание к видео 3D Printed Key Presentation and Demo on LockCon 2014

In this older talk I first demonstrated 3d printed blanks, keys and bump keys to a wider audience at LockCon 2014. The talk includes a demo section where I show an older prototype version of my software AutoKey3D that has been released now.

The talk has a cut in the middle because it contained a forensic analysis made and presented by someone who doesn't want to be shown or named publicly. I also had to remove the question section at the end to preserve the rights of some people that don't want to be in the video.

You can find the software here: https://github.com/choller/autokey3d

As you can see in the video, the profile extraction process is still manual. In some cases, an automated thresholding can work but in general it is not easy to perform this step fully automatic, especially when the light conditions are not exactly the same in all areas of the profile.
