Camera Testing on Shmup Station Alpha

Doing some trials with this Sony Alpha 5100. Looks really good I think, but it overheats... Basically need to use a dummy battery to try and conserve temps so it doesn't go into thermal shutdown. Bummer. Thinking this may not be the camera for me, which is a shame. Everyone online says most people don't do long takes for their videos... I almost only do one takes, so yeah. I'll look into the Sony ZV-1, which is too bad since this one was significantly cheaper and has ability to swap the lens which I may or may not ever do. Anyone have a good suggestions on Camera that might fit my style, preferably one with a flip up/out screen feel free to let me know.


I do think it did a fine job of capturing the mighty BVM here.
