Whether you're a DM or a player, taking notes in D&D enhances your game. Here's how I use Obsidian to run and play D&D online in my three weekly games (2 as a player, and 1 as a DM). Obsidian is a free note-taking tool that is particularly well-suited for handouts, lore dumps, character stats, and maps for online D&D games.
