It’s not the first time, nor will it be the last, that I have been blasted with cyst contents. No big deal comes with the territory. This cyst was under pressure and very ripe and ready for incision and drainage. Very deep pocket as you can see. Cyst had obliterated under pressure and as you hear me say all the time, you never get ALL the contents out because they are mixed into a jelly like sludge at the bottom of the pocket. We scrape all we can and flush the pocket if it’s deep, then dry it out with packing and antibiotics.
