30 hp Union Gas Engine at Antique Powerland Museum

Описание к видео 30 hp Union Gas Engine at Antique Powerland Museum

This 2 cylinder Union Gas Engine was built in San Francisco around 1916. It was sold to the Alaska Packers Association and shipped to Clarks Point, Alaska where it pumped water for a salmon cannery on Bristol Bay. When it was decommissioned the pump shed deteriorated and it sat in the elements for many years. I discovered it in 2007 and shipped it to Oregon where I totally rebuilt it and replaced missing brass parts . This engine, and many other rare engines, can be seen in operation at Antique Powerland Museum in Brooks, Oregon.
