The ETSU Global String Band explores how bluegrass and other American string band music is performed abroad, and plays string band music from around the world on our instruments. Here the group performs two tunes that we learned from Brittany Haas when she was our program artist in residence a while back: "Carl Linnaeus Polska" (composed by Gabriel Höök, the 18th century scientist's brother-in-law - from the playing of contemporary Swedish group Väsen) and "Evig Rus," (by Norwegian musician Eddy Lyshaug).
