RIGHT TO WORK: Coles Team Member Eoin Gibson

Описание к видео RIGHT TO WORK: Coles Team Member Eoin Gibson

People with Down syndrome are employed in a wide variety of jobs suitable to their skillsets and interests, and bring a range of invaluable benefits to the workplace. On top of this, working in open employment helps people with Down syndrome develop new skills, confidence and economic independence.

Eoin Gibson from Queensland loves being a team member at Coles supermarket. In his role he does a variety of tasks including working in fresh produce and the bakery.
In this video he shares his employment success story and talks about why having a job is so important to him.

Down Syndrome Australia is sharing employment success stories as part of the Right to Work project, which directly challenges misconceptions about what it means to hire a person with Down syndrome.

This project is funded by the Department of Social Services.

Thanks to Coles Greenslopes, Darren Watt and Eoin Gibson for collaborating on this film.
