This is the 3rd race of the 2026 Winter race season held February 8th, 2026.
Today we had a valentines themed layout, but it was more of an excuse to have a little party and eat some snacks. The SJRC Race Club members are always ready to party!
Congrats to all racers who came out, it was a great time racing with some very close racing!!!

This track layout had a short straight followed by a variety of back to back corners with an open infield heart corner. This kept the speeds in check but still offer a driving challenge as each half of the track offered different challenges. The speeds for the classes ranged from 7 seconds in 1/12 pancar to low 8's in Mini-B with a dip into the 9's for Nascar.

We alternate the direction or racing and this week we ran the track in a counter-clockwise direction.
