Trying to adjust the throttle linkage on my 1965 Thunderbird | Mac Tries Stuffs

Описание к видео Trying to adjust the throttle linkage on my 1965 Thunderbird | Mac Tries Stuffs

Whenever I ride in my 1965 Ford Thunderbird, 99% of the time is spent moving forward. But when I put it in reverse, it stalls... Not ideal for parking and other maneuvres that are already complicated enough with such a car compared to modern ones.
From what I read on the internet, the "load" is to big, therefore it stalls. Since I'm not a mechanic by any means, what I understood is that I need to adjust the idle. The "fast idle adjustment screw" on my carburator (an Edlebrock AVS2 650) being already set to maximum, I theorized that bringing the throttle linkage back should help.

Let me know in the comments if I should try something else, if this was bound to fail or that was actually a reasonable theory!
