A video showing how Bakelite cabinets of the painted type may with due care be repaired to a high standard. This is one of a series on vintage valve radio cabinet restoration to be uploaded over the next few days. Although in every case the chassis of the radio has also been restored, the emphasis here is on the external appearance.
Note however that sometimes items such as control knobs may be changed from the originals, usually because of an incomplete original set. That was the case with the Ferguson cabinet restoration, seen in the latter half of this video.
