Griffith Peak Trail

Follow along with me as I hike to the top of Griffith Peak in the Mt Charleston area of the Humboldt Toyabe National Forest, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada.

This thoughtfully narrated hike will cover which types of terrain you can expect along this difficult 10.2 mile out-and-back trail, along with breathtaking views and beautifully vibrant fall colors.

The first 4 miles of this hike follow the same path one would take to the summit of Mt Charleston itself, and this video provides some perspective into that experience as well.

Culminating with majestic 360 degree views of the surrounding area, you'll see the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead in the distance, clear views of Mummy Mountain and as far east as Pahrump and the outer edges of Death Valley.
