Music in Ministry at the Bedside— a resource for Chaplains

For chaplains and others interested in using music when praying for others: an encouragement and practical suggestion to incorporate music into your prayer with others. A simple blessing is demonstrated, “Prayer for Peace” (D.H.), (lyrics based on “The Breastplate of St. Patrick,” also called “The Deer’s Cry”). This blessing can be used in a wide variety of settings and is effective sung a capella, or with guitar accompaniment.
