Stena Line Stena Adventurer tour. Holyhead to Dublin (pre refit)

A2B via Sea is taking you across the Irish Sea aboard the Stena Line ferry Stena Adventurer between Dublin and Holyhead - approximately a 3hr crossing.

We start as a foot passenger in Dublin; having waited in the very comfortable Departure Lounge we are taken by shuttle bus to the ferry, a journey of 5min.

Boarding via one of the ships' cavernous vehicle decks, we ascend her 'green stairs' to Deck 7.

Stena Adventurer is a very large ferry with her passenger facilities located at the forward end of Decks 7, 8 & 9. This video will take you around her decks and show you her facilities.

Starting on Deck 7 there is the Commercial Drivers Restaurant, main reception, lounge, Hygge Lounge, shop and counter service bar/café. I have been reliably informed this area is due to be overhauled in 2022 with a new shopping centre being introduced to grab some of the new Duty Free shopping tourist traffic.

On Deck 8 there is the main bar, Met Grill, arcades, shop and Stena Plus Lounge. The later, accessed at a supplement, one can relax in very comfortable surroundings, enjoy complimentary beverages - including alcohol, marvel at the passing vistas from the huge windows and watch TV.

The main shop sells a range of duty free goods including wines, beers, tobacco, fragrances and spirits. I have been reliably informed this shop is due to be relocated to Deck 7 in 2022 and a new lounge will be introduced in its place.

Up on Deck 9 you will find an extensive number of ensuite cabins and three cinemas.

Exterior deck space can be found on Decks 7 and 8.

This video was filmed during Storm Dudley in February 2022 and although we departed one hour late and arrived in Holyhead one and a half hours late owing to the gale force conditions, Stena Adventurer was incredibly stable and I barely noticed any ship movement owing to the high seas.
