Here we are in the heart of Guadalajara! The Cathedral of Guadalajara is our starting point. With its neo-Gothic architecture and imposing presence, this cathedral is one of the main attractions of the city.

We arrive at Plaza Tapatía. This square is an emblematic place where different architectural styles converge, such as neoclassical and modern. Here are the Degollado Theater, the Cabañas Cultural Institute and the Roundabout of Illustrious Jaliscienses.

San Juan de Dios Market. Here we find a wide variety of products, from handicrafts to typical foods. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and tried some traditional Mexican snacks.

We continue our tour and stop in front of a true architectural jewel: the Degollado Theater. This theater is a cultural symbol of Guadalajara and has been the scene of countless plays, concerts and cultural events over the years.
The Degollado Theater was inaugurated in 1866 and is named after the Mexican insurgent Santos Degollado.

We walk through the streets until we reach the beautiful Plaza Guadalajara, formerly called Plaza de los Laurels. Here we find benches, a central fountain and a large number of people enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. This square is a perfect place to sit and admire the daily life of Guadalajara.
