Half of the population in sub-Saharan Africa don’t have reliable electricity. Growing up on the outskirts of a South African township, Nthabiseng Mosia experienced the difficulties of this disparity first-hand. “In a world run by electronics, power cuts and a lack of access to electricity is a violation of human rights” she says. Sparked by her continent’s struggles, Mosia co-founded Easy Solar to make electricity affordable and accessible to those in need.
