Suruchi Singh new world No.1 in women's 10m air pistol; Manu, Sift and Elavenil all make jump

Indian shooter Suruchi Inder Singh claimed the top spot in the women’s 10m air pistol, according to the latest International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) rankings. The 19-year-old has achieved this milestone for the very first time in her career, collecting 4162 points to finish ahead of China’s Yao Qianxun with 3195 points. Suruchi Singh had won the gold medal in women’s 10m air pistol event in the ISSF World Cup in Munich.
