The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on vaccinations in the larger conversation of public health. Elizabeth Talbot (New Hampshire’s Deputy State Epidemiologist) and Christine Finley (Vermont Department of Health’s Immunization Program Director) discuss what vaccination research and initiatives are taking place regionally and nationally, what the future of a COVID-19 vaccine looks like, and how we can apply what we know from our experience with other vaccines to get the public vaccinated.

Health Research Live programs include 20 minutes of presentations from experts, 15 minutes of break out groups to discuss issues with your community, and 20 minutes of a larger group discussion. This program will be conducted via Zoom.

The program is produced and organized by the Montshire Museum of Science, Public Health Council of the Upper Valley, Dartmouth- Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Population Health.
