Sogod, officially the Municipality of Sogod (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Sogod; Tagalog: Bayan ng Sogod), is a 2nd class municipality located in the northeastern part of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 39,447 people.[3]

It is 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Cebu City and is bordered on the north by the town of Borbon, to the west by the towns of Tuburan and Tabuelan, on the east by the Camotes Sea, and on the south by the town of Catmon.
