THE MOVIE
An Epirus horse, with its symbolic power, brings back the memories and the history of Epirus. The young pianist harks the gallop from the past, coming with momentum. Hitting the stones of Epirus in the emblematic ancient theatre of Dodoni, he calls the Epirus spirits, which come in the form of dancers in order to remind us the culture and the values of the Epirus land and its tradition, redefine and enlightenus so that we can survive the dark times we are in. The young clarinetist -an apparition from the pastfollows the dancers and accumulat es the whole energy of the Epirus culture into the symbolic instrument of Epirus, the clarinet. She passes on this power to the present, as the little pianist «guides » the spirits with his piano back to Hades. Epirus, where Christians, Jews and Muslims were born, died, dreamt, worked hard, fought and loved without limits and harmoniously lived together for centuries, sends a message to the world: The solidarity and peaceful co existence of the three religions is the unique option for a future full of peace, love, truth, emotion, pure mind and soul.
In the movie appear the 8-year-old pianist Stelios Kerasidis, the 16-year-old clarinetist Ioanna Charalambous, the musician Giannis Diskos and the dance group of the Epirotes Association of Nea Makri, Marathon, Rafina.
