Описание к видео Chasing "The Empress" CP 2816 Across the Manitoba Plains (Not Very Well)

Brought out the old camcorder again to document when I took a trip to Manitoba to see CP 2816 on the final stretch of its journey from Winnipeg to Calgary. This day I first got the train just outside of Winnipeg before having it beat me to every spot until the maintenance stop west of Portage (1 hour's drive). Since I wanted to have time to railfan in Portage I got it one more time in MacGregor before turning back on myself. Due to a heavyweight car in the consist, it was restricted to 45mph.
