Making Keys: 1988 Land Rover Range Rover from Ignition cylinder

Описание к видео Making Keys: 1988 Land Rover Range Rover from Ignition cylinder

Ignition from a '88 Range Rover brought in for replacement keys. The worst part about this whole process is getting the ignition out. The two bolts that hold the ignition in are called Shear Head bolts where the driver head snaps off after hitting a specific torque, leaving only a rounded surface and is commonly recessed in a hole. Typically removing these bolts requires a sharp punch and hammer to tap it around to unscrew and is always extra hindered by the fact you pretty much have to do it upside down. Luckily someone else took care of the removal on this one & brought it in for keys.
