I purchased a UEi DM397 because of its price, specs, and the rather favorable comparison of a DM391 that Dave Jones of EEVBLOG made in one of his multimeter shootouts.

My first one arrived in bad shape and was also mentioned in this thread here:

He covered the meter very well and it appears he got a good one.

Please excuse the bald head getting in the way.I was tired and didn't want to reshoot.
