Quick look at an X-wing starfighter I made in ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’. It uses elevator rails for the frame & wings, and stake-nudging was used to get the cockpit (the bottom rail) at an otherwise impossible angle (and distance) from the rest of the frame. It’s quite durable, flies nicely, and (IMO) the angles — particularly the wings — look correct. (The astromech droid and the construct horns on the wings are purely decorative and unnecessary.)
