So, I watched Stranger Things and I felt like they did The Mind Flayer dirty. I feel like it had elements of cosmic horror in there which they could have explained a little bit more. So, I reimagined the story, and I made stranger things cosmic horror.

Cosmic horror is a genre where you fear the unknown, and get existential about how vast and unknowable the universe is. And that's what I tried to make the mind flayer into. Something completely unknowable.

And it's not that stranger things needs to be cosmic horror, but I felt like it had the potential to be that sort of story. Kind of like the show 'Dark'. So, that's why I wanted to make this video. It's not perfect, it's just an alternate theory I guess.

And we'll call it the UNREALIZED "Cosmic Horror" of Stranger Things...
