Restoring THE GOLD FINIAL with funding and technical supervision of the Titan Company and in partnership with the Archaeological Survey of India.

On 30 May 2014, during a sandstorm of unprecedented wind velocity exceeding 150 km/ hour the wooden core of Humayun's Tomb's finial snapped at the point where this rises above the dome - causing the 300 kilos of copper vessels to come crashing on the roof – 70 feet below.
After the inspections carried out in the aftermath of the collapse, led to the agreement that following repairs to the vessels the finial should be preserved and displayed in the secure environment of the proposed Humayun’s Tomb Interpretation Centre.

The film talks about the story of the creation of the Humayun's Tomb finial, which had a team of architects, engineers, scientists and traditional craftsmen – carpenters, copper-smiths, gilders – working towards this mammoth restoration effort, for two years.
