Homemade aloe vera hair oil is very useful in treating hair fall and dandruff. It also makes the hair soft and shiny. The procedure is very simple and can be easily made at home, with aloe leaves if you have the plant at home or also with store-bought aloe leaf.

Ingredients
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup aloe vera juice

Wash and grind the aloe vera leaves after the latex has been removed. Add the coconut oil to a heavy-bottomed pan. Mix the aloe juice in it. Keep the pan on a very low fire and cook till all the moisture evaporates and the oil has absorbed the nutrients from the aloe vera. This 1 cup of oil took around 1 and a 1/2 hours to get done. It stays for more than a year.

You can mix this oil in equal proportion with henna and amla oil which makes the perfect tonic for the hair.
