scm olimpic 500 - HP version - single sided automatic edge bander

Olimpic 500 is the recently launched SCM edge bander ideal for small-to-medium-sized companies.

Here it is presented in the HP version, fully servo-controlled, with the 21” “eye-M” touch screen console. The Maestro active edge software, supplied as standard, provides the operator with an efficient and intuitive working experience.

Olimpic 500 is the edgebander suitable for the application of different thin edges and solid wood edges up to 6 mm thick on 60 mm wide panels. It is supplied with SGP-E glue pot enables fast changeover between EVA and PUR glue (or different colours). The multiedge working units equipped with NC axes allow the rapid changeover of machining between two radii without any manual adjustment.

With olimpic 500 even no-edge machining is possible. The lateral sides and corners of MDF and wood panels can be profiled without applying the edge and by using the trimming-chamfering unit in the 1st pass and the rounding unit in the 2nd pass. The gluing and edge finishing units are excluded.

Another exclusive feature of this edge bander is the automatic edge infeed device. Positioned under the control panel, it allows the operator to insert the edge from outside the cabin slashing set up time when changing the coil.
