Episode 126. The beasts of the Northern fleet. Part I

This episode is dedicated to the world-famous beast division of multipurpose nuclear submarines. The beast division got its name from the names of the submarines: Pantera, Gepard, Tigr, Volk, Vepr, Leopard. All of them were built according to Project 971 and are among the most armed submarines of the Russian Navy. Other submarines cannot boast such a number and variety of torpedoes. It is no coincidence that NATO gave this series of nuclear-powered submarines the name Shark. This means that their task is to protect our strategic submarine missile carriers from foreign submarines and ships. Also, their job is underwater hunting. They have to detect foreign submarines while remaining undetected themselves. The film crew of Combat Approved will be the first television crew to go aboard these unique ships. We will show how life goes on there during the long autonomous voyages, we will visit the exercises of rescue from a sunken nuclear submarine. In short, the beast division reveals its secrets for the first time.
