「聯和趁墟」前身是聯和市場，於2010年獲古物諮詢委員會評定為三級歷史建築，並於2016年被納入第五期《活化歷史建築伙伴計劃》（活化計劃）的歷史建築單名中。整個活化計劃自2017年正式開展保育復修工作，至2024年5月完成並正式投入服務。
「聯和趁墟」設置各種本地農產檔，除了呼應前身聯和市場作為區內新鮮食材的販賣點外，也創造與新一代本地菜農合作及銷售本地農產品；開設具本地特色的小店，引入各式工藝創作。週末會設室外巿集，擺賣本地自家製小吃、特色手工藝品，有如重回舊日墟期盛況。
Assessed as a Grade III historic building by the Antiquities Advisory Board in 2010, Luen Wo Market was selected as the fifth phase of the “Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme” in 2016, led by the Commissioner for Heritage’s Office under the Development Bureau. The revitalization plan commenced with the official launch of conservation and restoration work in 2017. Luen Wo Market has resumed operations in May 2024.
At Luen Wo Market, there are a diverse range of stalls showcasing local agriculture products, echoes the old Market as a fresh food market in the district, and create network with local farmers. During weekends, there is an outdoor bazaar where visitors can enjoy local snacks and browse through handicraft items. It’s an experience that transports you back to the vibrant heydays of the market, bustling with people day and night.
