I noticed this trend on my job search! 4 months since lay off.

The trend I been noticing lately. Particularly the warehouse/ forklift jobs. They are more STRICT on their requirements! I commonly see requirements like EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. Or 2 years forklift experience ETC. That's one trend... Another trend I been seeing more of. The pays is becoming SMALLER!

REMEMBER the labor shortage back in 2020 and 2021. Where employers were desperate to find workers and offer MORE pay? And they were hiring EVERYBODY! Even people in their 60s and 70s!!! YES, my job did that! Not only that my job was more than happy to hire forklift drivers with NO EXPERIENCE! And they were willing to train! MY JOB DID THAT BEFORE. It WAS an employees market! We employees HAD THE POWER THEN!

WELL, GUESS WHAT? THOSE DAYS ARE GONE!
