Facing Challenges Over 50

We all face challenges.
Make 50 to 75 the best years of your life

When I turned fifty I proclaimed I would make age 50 to 75 the best years of my life. And it worked, sort of ....for awhile. Then the pandemic shut down my career and everything went wrong.

But I as I get to the other side of the hard times, I am aware that I am not alone. Others are struggling too.

If you are in this age range and finding things hard..... my first suggestion is to get with friends and share. Turn out many people are facing issues in these middle years.

And making new friends is a good idea. Having had a friend totally "ghost" us (drama people will disappear as it gives them power.....real friends don't cut you out and bad mouth you)..... and making new friends was the best thing. It is harder to make friends at this age, but when you do, you find some great people.

Finally, if you are really in a bad place, go find a therapist. I was not one to do this, I had figured I could overcome any issues on my own (probs a generational thing)..... but once I admitted I needed professional help, it allowed me to make the changes that are leading me back to that path of age 50 to 75 being the best years of my life.

You are not alone if you are struggling and want to reinvent yourself after age 50.
