Leslie and Violet built their relationship one piece at a time. Today it was riding on their own in a paddock. We had started summer, last year, with Leslie on the lead when aboard Violet. Leslie rode the first time on the lead in this paddock, then I added cones to mark a squared off circle. To add the trot, we went back on the lunge line. Today, she used the entire paddock to walk and trot, and ask for bend on her circles. It’s a joy to see!
