Ported Barrel vs Thread-On Compensator - Which Shoots Flatter or Softer?

Описание к видео Ported Barrel vs Thread-On Compensator - Which Shoots Flatter or Softer?

Today we take a quick look at recoil impulse with stock barrels, ported barrels, and threaded barrels with compensators. We wanted to see which looked and felt softest/flattest. With our high speed camera we were able to measure the angle from just before the shot fired to the maximum angle the firearm achieved through recoil, and come up with an average after a 6-round string of fire.

We tested the SIG Sauer P365XL, the Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 4.25", the ZevTech OZ9, the Glock 19X, and a special guest, a snub nose .38 Special.

Findings were pretty conclusive with ported barrels showing the most recoil mitigation, across the board. Compensators came in second. Stock barrels showed the most recoil, no surprise to anyone.
