Sticky Rice "Stuffing"/Thanksgiving/Holiday Asian-Style Side Dish

A twist on the traditional bread stuffing or dressing recipes, this has glutinous/sticky rice, Chinese sausage, apples, cranberries and more seasonal flavors. It's an easy dish that makes a wonderful addition to any holiday meal. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 cups glutinous (sticky) rice
2-3 Chinese sausage links
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 small Granny Smith apple
1/2 cup frozen cut corn
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup oyster mushrooms
3 green onions
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp 5-spice powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Yields: 6 cups stuffing
