Every day is an applique, will I get this quilt finished?

Hello and welcome to what Mandy made next, I love to knit, crochet and sew.
I have quite a few works in progress on the go to share with you. Last year I attended a series of workshops (block of the month) at Liberty Bell to make the Riverside Knoll quilt which is designed by Kim Diehl. I fell behind and have just picked this back up, I have now finished instalment 5 so I was approaching the finish line when I decided to redo the blocks in Instalment 1. I was not pleased with my initial applique and so every day I have been stitching these blocks again. At one of the workshops a kind lady told me about the starch method, therefore I decided when I redid the applique to use this technique and share with you the process.
I have also sorted out 2 projects for my WIPGO and feel quite optimistic that I can get some green squares on my board.
My other stitchy projects that I show are progressing nicely and I have a new crochet cast on.
