The spatial laser tag game (Cyborg Revolution!) is owned and designed by Zero Infinity Inc, and plans are to develop it for AR Headsets which overlay the virtual world onto the real world.

This video from 2019 shows the player walking through the Main Event laser tag arena in Frisco - where the product was going to pilot - wearing a VR headset (Quest 2) displaying the 3D world in which the player is immersed as he/she walks through the real location, from suit-up area to the arena on both floors. Alignment of the VR world is slightly offset from the real world at times, which causes the player to have to walk through walls and objects in some cases. Accurate Alignment of a VR world to the real world, in 2019 with Meta Quest headsets, was a difficult challenge to perfect, though we came very close using both the inside-out tracking of the Quest in tandem with outside-in tracking of HTC Vive base stations. Still, it wasn't close enough to guarantee the level of safety required.

Early in 2020 we were able to test the level using Magic Leap headsets, which produced amazing results. This product can be designed to auto-configure to any laser tag arena, and with a sufficient order (LOI) of the ULTRA (Upgraded Laser Tag Reality Augmentation) System for Laser Tag venues, we will manufacture the product including the Venue-grade XR Headsets required for this high-throughput entertainment attraction.
