The Combustible Rule of Minimalism is when you hold an object and decide if it was just to disappear or blow up and be gone right then would you feel relief or would you want to go out immediately and buy it back again. This is a pretty simple rule which really helped me to get rid of a lot of things very quickly! When I stopped worrying so much about “one day” items and really got down to if this object was something I really enjoyed or needed, it opened my eyes and allowed me to let go so much more so much faster.
