How To Tap Into Your Factory GPS Antenna For An Aftermarket Screen & The First Major Software Update

In this video I show how you Tap into you factory or OEM GPS antenna to integrate another device. The process may vary from vehicle to vehicle, but the premise is likely the same. Thank you to people like Mitch Moen in the Aucar Facebook Support group that provide details on this process as well. Thank you to Mohammad Haris Sharif (Instagram @haris_mania) that shared this modification when I first installed mine in July, and again, Mitch Moen's posts that helped me find the affordable accessories.

I also demonstrate the process on updating your software as this process may be confusing to some people. Unfortunately, I didn't experience a proper improvement with CarPlay connections. The other fixes, I am still testing.
