AL811 AL811H Ameritron Critical Safety Mods

This video shows critical safety mods in the AL811 and AL811H amplifiers. The AL811 is a bit easier, it has easier access to tune socket pins. I am working to make a parts kit to upgrade amplifiers. The problem is this amplifier is an old design and upgrades at Ameritron were piecemeal and uncoordinated at best, so there are many patches. Complicating that, there is some freedom by assembly run to alter how things are done, there is human element in the production that includes lead dress.

This complicates kitting a universal update. Please be patient with me because of time delays, but I hope to have a (3) GDT with one spare, Zener's, a heavier diode, and 100k resistor kit. I also am waiting on more consistent 811A tubes. I've picked a vendor and tubes are on the way.
