We head across the Gibson desert with the camels loaded in the trailer to a remote salt lake called lake Ballard. Lake Ballard is a famous stopover that has artistic sculptures set amongst its landscape. It makes for a very unique place to walk camels and it’s challenging in the hight of summer. From Warburton to Menzies we cross some of the most remotest country in Australia on the way to the salt lake called Ballard.
