Pattern Making: How to Add an Elbow Dart to a Sleeve Pattern

HOW TO ADD A DART TO A SLEEVE IN PATTERN MAKING
In this tutorial you will see how to easily add an elbow dart to an existing sleeve sloper, or, any sleeve pattern. When we stand straight, our arm swings a bit forward and there is a greater swing at the bend of the arm/elbow. This dart allows that to happen.

Once you do this, you can transfer your sleeve (without seam allowance) to oak tag or poster board for a permanent addition to your sloper set!
