Japan's Hakuto Lander achieve Moon's Orbit. Lunar Landing in April 2023

ispace a small private company from Japan is set to land its rover on the Moon's surface this april.
Their Lunar Lander successfully achieved orbit on March 21 2023.
Haukuto was launched along with Nasa’s Lunar Flashlight Moon Orbiter, on dec 11, onboard SpaceX’s falcon 9 rocket.
The Moon Orbital Insertion is the 7th Milestone in the Japan’s Attempt at lunar landing scheduled for Late April 2023. In the coming days Mission control will perform orbital control manoeuvre and get it ready for the landing sequence.

The Lander is carrying the Rashid rover of the Emirates Lunar Mission and JAXA's SORA-Q transformable lunar robot, both of which Hakuto-R will deliver to the lunar surface. It also houses a music disc featuring the song ‘SORATO’ by the Japanese rock band Sakanaction.
