macau in 2 days | cotai strip, historic district

I visited Macau for 2 full days and these are some of the things I did :)

I'll leave a little itinerary below for your reference! If you go, I'd recommend 3 full days to see the places that I have not gotten to visit yet like Taipa Village, Coloane Village, Studio City, different malls, more cafe hopping, etc. Macau is very interesting in terms of seeing a bit of everything (culture, shopping, nightlife) and even makes a perfect day trip from HK.

If you do take the ferry from HK, make sure to book your tickets in advance on the app/web or visit the booth early in person for same-day tickets! Otherwise you'd be waiting a few hours until the next ferry has economy seats especially during peak season. We didn't want to wait so we had to upgrade all the way to super class in order to reach by early afternoon (comes with food which was a plus)!

day 1:
• fisherman's wharf
• cotai strip — venetian, londoner, parisian
• city of dreams

day 2:
• classic buffet
• can spend a whole day at the historic centre — ruins of st. paul, senado square, st. dominic's church, and see what else you'd like to do on the macau peninsula side if you have time (ex. a-ma temple)

if you do day 3:
• can split your time between taipa village
• and coloane village
(they are nearby each other and not on the macau peninsula = saving taxi fees)

Even if you skip the casinos, there's so much to see by exploring the rich history Macau has to offer!
