Toray Pan Pacific Open final between Martina Hingis, seeded second and Amanda Coezter seeded seventh. Martina won 6:2 6:1. winning her 21st singles title. Prize money was set as $1.05 milion, matches played in Tokyo/Japan, indoors hardcourt. Fun fact about players: both have their own handles : Miss Baseline (Hingis) and Pocket Rocket Amanda (Coetzer)
Final was broadcasted by Eurosport (english) on Feb 02, 1999 and recorded by me same day.

Hi there! Since early 90's I became a fan of Swiss Miss or Magic Martina - the One and Only Martina Hingis! Her charm, finesse and pure genius on court turns me into addict of tennis. Martina with her open, engaging and innocent smile together with her lethal backhand down the line turns my life onto new, different tracks. I was recording final matches with Martina on VHS since 1997 AO and then realize that time is running so fast and could be fatal to my records. VHS archiving done by me, Hornet - a modest fan of Martina and commodore C-64 from Poland. Tapes were recorded using Philips recorder, VHS envelope done with DTP programm PrintFox and Geos on C64 with help from Seikosha needle printer
