6'4 Julian Roper II is an UNREAL Finisher and Lockdown Defender | 2023-24 Season Highlights

Northwestern Transfer Julian Roper II (Junior) was a hidden gem for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a promising season for the young team. During his first two years in college, Roper and his NBA-ready physique displayed his fierce competitiveness, elite feel on the defensive side of the floor and pro-level shot creation on offense. These aspects of Roper's skillset would ultimately change games for Notre Dame this past season as they doubled their ACC win total from the year prior in Micah Shrewsberry's first season in South Bend.

In a role that varied drastically throughout the year, Roper showed flashes of his potential to impact the game at the next level. The 6'4 210lb Detroit-native's spot-up and off-the-catch shot mechanics paired along with his patience in isolation scoring and fire at the defensive end show his readiness to compete at the highest level. Expect Roper to be a key part of the rotation for the Fighting Irish next season as they look to make a run for the NCAA tournament.
